Job Description

Oneida Health Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) is seeking a full-time audiologist to help us achieve our goal of providing the best patient care in hearing, balance, and audiology-related disorders. Our audiologists see pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting and receive a constant flow of referrals from Oneida Health’s network of services. Our outstanding Otolaryngologist and Advanced Practitioners work in conjunction with our skilled audiology team to focus on new technologies and patient services to provide highly coordinated and comprehensive head and neck care. Our ENT office is open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and located at 221 Broad Street in Oneida (NY).

What You'll Be Great At
  • Providing exceptional patient care focused on safety and experience
  • Being able to work independently within a team-based environment
  • Providing audiological evaluations like a champ, such as, immittance measurements, unsedated and sedated ABR testing in the OR, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), videonystagmography (VNG), and bedside audiometric testing for inpatients.
  • Performing hearing aid evaluations and fittings including custom ear plugs, instant swim molds, and noise protection.
  • Performing Baha evaluations
  • Keeping good notes and records for patient EMRs
  • Providing leadership and supervision to Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students as applicable
  • Maintaining clinical equipment and consultation rooms for audiology

Your Essential Qualifications

Education:

  • Doctorate of Audiology (Required)

License:

  • NYS Licensure Hearing Aid Dispensing (Required)
  • NYS Licensure in Audiology (Required)

Certifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) issued by the Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CFCC) of ASHA (Preferred)
